Non-stop dogwear Freemotion Harness Pro

Non-stop dogwear Freemotion harness pro is a lightweight pulling harness developed for canicross, bikejoring and skijoring. Its ergonomic Freemotion tech™ construction supports a natural range of motion and unrestricted breathing, while CleanSeam™ provides a flexible, close-to-body fit.

Four adjustment points help the harness adapt to your dog’s shape. Hypalon reinforcements, anti-slip side straps and a lightweight anti-slip attachment help maintain a stable, secure fit while your dog is pulling.

Find your dog’s size

The size finder recommends one of the main sizes from 4 to 8. If it recommends size 5, 6 or 7, measure your dog’s neck to determine whether the regular or smaller S neck opening is more suitable.

Choosing between regular and S sizes

The regular sizes follow the same neck-opening dimensions as the Freemotion harness 5.0. Sizes 5S, 6S and 7S have a smaller neck opening but retain the same harness length as the corresponding regular size.

For example, sizes 6 and 6S have the same harness length, but size 6S has the smaller neck opening. If your dog wears size 5, 6 or 7 in the Freemotion harness 5.0, measure their neck to determine whether the smaller S opening may provide a better fit.

Fit and adjustment

Your dog should be standing, with the harness held in a pulling position, while you check and adjust the fit.

1. Neck: For a medium-sized dog wearing sizes 4–7, two fingers placed vertically, one above the other, should fit between the top of the neck and the harness. Allow slightly less room for smaller dogs and more for larger dogs. A pulling harness should fit snugly around the neck.
2. Depth: Adjust the side straps to suit the depth of the chest. For a medium-sized dog, two fingers placed vertically should fit between the chest and the harness.
3. Chest bone: The lowest point of the neck opening should sit at the dog’s chest bone. Adjust its position using the side straps.
4. Armpits: Check that there is sufficient room for the dog to move freely.
5. Ribs: The side straps should sit on the rib cage and should not extend beyond the final rib.
6. Attachment point: Adjust the harness so the rope used to attach the line begins directly above the base of the dog’s tail. Lock the back strap by threading its end back through the metal slip lock.

Important: Check that the knots on the leash-attachment rope are tight before every use.

If the harness is difficult to put on or remove, turn it slightly sideways while passing it over the dog’s head. The side straps can also be loosened and the rear hook-and-loop fastening opened when required.

Freemotion harness pro and Freemotion harness 5.0

Both harnesses use Freemotion tech™ and have the same adjustment points. Both are developed for regular canicross, bikejoring and skijoring.

• The Pro introduces smaller neck-opening options in sizes 5S, 6S and 7S.
• The Pro includes Hypalon reinforcements, anti-slip side straps and a lighter anti-slip attachment.
• The Pro back strap is replaceable. On the Freemotion harness 5.0, both the side and back straps can be replaced.

Replacement parts

A replacement back strap is available. The replacement strap for the Freemotion harness 5.0 in sizes 6–9 is also compatible. Depending on the harness size, the replacement strap may be longer than the original. If required, cut it to the desired length and carefully seal the cut edges with a lighter.
